A formal translation. This type of translation, depending upon the country, bears the name of sworn, formal, certified or public translation. In Romania, sworn translations are performed by translators authorised by the Ministry of Justice, on the basis of an authorisation issued by this ministry. The list containing the sworn translators can be checked on the Ministry of Justice official web site: www.just.ro.

Sworn translations are required upon the request of the Public Authorities, Courts of First Instance, Courts of Law, Notary Offices, Embassies, Ministries and other such organisations. Each translated document is certified by a sworn translator with the stamp and affix of signature, which confers the translation its formal status.

Our translators are authorised by the Ministry of Justice, therefore their signature can be authenticated by a Notary Public.
